Vincent Stamper

Born in Seattle, and raised on the North Oregon coast by teachers, I learned to value public service, helping others to find their passion, and a respect for the sea. I enlisted in the Navy, and after Nuclear Power School, prototype, and C-1 weld school reported to my first fast attack, USS Louisville in San Diego. Along the way I married my high school sweetheart Carrie, and we started our family, Ben, then Chloe, and finally Katrianna. After three more fast attacks, and shore duty at TRF, I transitioned to civil service, and currently serve as the Innovation Manager at IMF Bangor. My passion is to improve ways in which we use both old and new processes and technologies, to improve how we support the mission, and optimize our efforts. With Kat now in college we focus our time and energy outside work on restoring our 1928 69′ motor yacht Fifer, and share our journey on www.yachtfifer1928.com <http://www.yachtfifer1928.com>. We plan to live-aboard and cruise with family and friends when we retire, and continue to improve and optimize.
